In October 2025, Ukraine significantly increased exports of agricultural products. The total volume of supplies reached 4.5 million tons, which is 20.8% more than in September this year. Such data was published by the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UKAB).
According to analysts, the growth of agricultural exports was influenced by several key factors. First, the acceleration of the harvest rate - due to difficult weather conditions, the soybean, sunflower and corn harvesting campaign was delayed, but in October the volumes of the harvested crop began to accumulate actively. Secondly, the establishment of the “soybean amendments” mechanism played a role, which canceled the 10% export duty for soybean and rapeseed producers. In addition, the favorable market conditions for sunflower oil stimulated the growth of supplies in this segment.
The most noticeable growth occurred in the group of oilseeds and their processed products, which confirms the trend towards an increase in the added value of Ukrainian agricultural exports.
In the structure of agricultural exports in October, grain crops retained the first place - their exports reached 2.7 million tons, which is 9% more than in the previous month. The basis of grain exports was wheat (56%), corn (35%) and barley (8%).
Oilseed exports amounted to 447.1 thousand tons, which means an increase of 39%. The main share was occupied by soybeans (53%) and rapeseed (45%). In the category of vegetable oils, even more dynamic growth was recorded - 510.8 thousand tons, or 63% more than a month earlier. Here, the undisputed leader remains sunflower oil (72%), followed by rapeseed oil (18%) and soybean oil (9%).
A real record was shown by the category of cake after oil extraction - 467.2 thousand tons, which is 66% more than in September. The lion's share of exports in this segment was sunflower cake (73%) and soybean oil (27%).
Other types of agricultural products also demonstrate positive dynamics: their exports in October reached 386.1 thousand tons, which is 14% higher than the previous month.
Thus, the Ukrainian agricultural sector continues to maintain stable positions in world markets despite difficult logistical and economic conditions. Analysts predict that with favorable weather and the preservation of favorable price conditions, November may become another month of export growth, especially in the segments of oilseeds and processed products.
