Two Ukrainian agricultural companies - Agroprodservis and Molokiya - have joined forces to build a new hard cheese production plant. The capacity of the enterprise will be 10 tons of finished product per day, said Taras Baran, director of the commercial department of Agroprodservis, Latifundist.com reports.
According to Baran, the new plant will process approximately 100 tons of milk daily, which will allow it to produce about 10 tons of hard cheese daily. This will become a strategic direction for the development of Agroprodservis, the company expects to use Molokiya's experience to ensure high quality and efficiency of production processes.
The enterprise plans not only to increase milk production, but also to process raw materials as efficiently as possible. Today, Agroprodservis produces about 220 tons of milk per day and ranks second in Ukraine in this indicator. The company has set an ambitious goal of reaching 500 tons of milk per day within several years.
Molokiya will provide technical expertise and support in the production and sale of finished products. Thanks to this partnership, the new plant will be able to produce a quality product using advanced technologies and standards of the dairy industry.
As Baran notes, the project requires significant investments, since equipment for the production of hard cheeses is expensive. An additional challenge is the long ripening period of the cheese, during which capital remains frozen. However, the company is confident in its own experience in the dairy industry and in the partner's competence in processing raw materials.
The launch of the plant will allow Agroprodservis to expand its business and increase the added value of its own products. It is planned that the new enterprise will contribute not only to the growth of production volumes, but also to the development of the Ukrainian hard cheese market.
The project demonstrates the desire of Ukrainian agricultural companies to integrate the production of dairy raw materials and finished products. This creates the prerequisites for increasing competitiveness in the domestic market and expanding exports of dairy products in the future.
