In April 2025, Ukrainian farmers continued to actively use the state program for partial compensation for the cost of domestically produced agricultural machinery. According to the results of the third wave of payments this year, the Ministry of Economy approved the allocation of 136.6 million hryvnias in compensation for 1,004 units of machinery purchased within the framework of this initiative.

During the month, 779 farms submitted applications for participation in the program. They purchased agricultural machinery with a total value of 546.3 million hryvnias excluding VAT. According to the terms of the program, the compensation provided is 25% of the cost of the purchased machinery - it is these funds that the state transfers to farmers.

The program operates within the framework of the "Made in Ukraine" initiative and is aimed not only at supporting the agricultural sector, but also at developing domestic engineering. By stimulating demand for Ukrainian machinery, the state also contributes to preserving jobs and strengthening the national industry.

Since the launch of the updated phase of the program in December 2024, more than 2,000 agricultural producers have already taken advantage of the compensation mechanism. They purchased more than 3,000 units of equipment for the amount of 1.9 billion hryvnias (excluding VAT), and the total amount of compensation provided reached almost 486 million hryvnias.

Financing is provided through authorized banks. PrivatBank provides the largest amount of compensation to farmers - 43.7 million hryvnias, Oschadbank - 41.9 million hryvnias, and Raiffeisen Bank - 19.8 million hryvnias. In total, 34 Ukrainian banks have joined the program.

This initiative is one of the important instruments of state support for the agricultural sector in wartime, as it allows farmers to modernize their production facilities without spending the full amount on the purchase of equipment, and also supports the economic stability of rural regions.
