Sunflower processing in Ukraine: October trends and prospects for the market

In October 2024, a significant increase in sunflower processing rates was observed in Ukraine, which became an important event for the country's agricultural sector. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, sunflower processing volumes have reached record levels, which indicates a high demand for vegetable oil and other processed products. According to the latest statistical data, the volume of sunflower processing in October increased by 5-10% compared to previous months, which indicates the efficiency of enterprises and activity in agricultural production. In particular, more than 1.2 million tons of sunflower seeds were processed in October, which largely meets the needs of the domestic market in oil and other food products.
