The Ukrainian government announced the expansion of the compensation program for large investment projects related to electronic communications, bioethanol, biogas and biomethane production. According to the new changes, investors can receive compensation of up to 30% of the cost of their projects, which is a significant incentive for the development of these industries.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. One of the key changes is the reduction of the minimum investment requirement. Previously, to receive compensation, it was necessary to invest at least 20 million euros, now this amount has been reduced to 12 million euros. This decision aims to encourage more investors to participate in the implementation of projects in these strategic sectors.

The budget of Ukraine for 2024 provides 3 billion hryvnias for the implementation of this program. This will provide significant support for enterprises that implement innovative technologies in the field of renewable energy, in particular biogas plants. Compensation of up to 30% of the project cost will be an important financial incentive for the development of new enterprises and technologies in Ukraine.

Lowering the minimum investment threshold and significant funding of the program are designed not only to stimulate the growth of domestic companies, but also to attract foreign investors who may be interested in implementing projects in the renewable energy sector.
