In 2024, LLC "State Land Bank" paid UAH 55.7 million of minimum tax liability (MPZ) for the first time, which became an important contribution to the state budget. These funds were received for the lease of land plots with a total area of about 100 thousand hectares, which were transferred to the management of the land bank.
This was reported by the press service of the "State Land Bank", emphasizing the importance of this step for the effective management of the country's land resources. The Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Vitaliy Koval noted that the launch of such a management mechanism through the "Land Bank" is a systemic solution that provides not only transparency, but also real income for the state. "State land works for the state!" - he added.
The Minimum Tax Obligation (MTO) is a mandatory annual tax paid by owners and users of land plots. This tax is important for combating the shadow use of land and ensures fair and efficient filling of the state budget. Thanks to such initiatives, the state can more effectively control the use of land resources and receive additional income.
Yaroslav Yaroslavsky, General Director of the State Land Bank, emphasized that the company became the first land user to pay the minimum tax liability for such a significant amount. This indicates the growing responsibility and efficiency of state land management.
According to Yaroslavsky, such steps allow not only to ensure revenue to the budget, but also to improve the overall situation with the use of land resources in Ukraine, contributing to economic development and reducing corruption risks.
This case is a vivid example of how state land can be effectively used to ensure the country's economic growth and filling the budget.
