Ukraine continues to expand the geography of export of food products, in particular eggs. In September, specialists of the Southern Interregional Department of the State Production and Consumer Service issued permits for the export of 106 tons of eggs to West African countries — the Republic of Sierra Leone and Mauritania. This party was another step in strengthening trade relations between Ukraine and African states.
The export of edible eggs requires strict compliance with international standards that regulate both the packaging process and product transportation. All exported eggs are classified according to quality and shelf life. They are divided into three main categories: "extra", class A and class B, which determine their suitability for export.
One of the key requirements for export is the correct packaging of products. Eggs are packed in special containers that provide reliable protection during transportation. This is necessary to prevent product damage and preserve its quality. In addition, for successful export, it is important to maintain the correct temperature regime, which allows you to preserve the freshness of eggs on the way from the producer to the consumer.
Food eggs are usually transported in refrigerators or other means that allow maintaining a constant temperature, which should not exceed +5°C. This temperature regime is critical to preserve the freshness of the product during long-term transportation to distant countries such as Sierra Leone and Mauritania.
In addition to temperature control, special attention is paid to protecting cargo from external factors such as moisture, pollution, exposure to direct sunlight and physical damage. This ensures that the products reach consumers in the proper quality, in accordance with international standards.
The export of eggs to African countries is evidence of the successful work of Ukrainian producers and services that ensure high standards of safety and quality. Such cooperation contributes to the strengthening of Ukraine's position on the world market of food products and the expansion of its exports.
