Since August 2023, an impressive volume of products has been exported through the Ukrainian sea corridor, reaching a total of almost 15 million tons, of which 10 million tons are agricultural products. This was reported by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Vice Prime Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development, in an announcement on the social network X.

During the five months of the corridor's operation, 469 new vessels entered Ukrainian ports. Currently, 39 vessels are being loaded at the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi, which indicates active logistics activity on the sea routes, the Deputy Prime Minister said.

According to Kubrakov, 83 ships are ready to enter Ukrainian ports to load and export 2.4 million tons of cargo, further emphasizing the importance and growth of the export opportunities of Ukrainian sea trade routes.

These impressive figures indicate the active work and positive impact of maritime transport on the Ukrainian economy, in particular on the agricultural sector, which has become a significant player in this export renaissance. Successful exports of agricultural products via sea routes promise to increase the country's economic development and help to strengthen its position in the global market.

Given the constant interest and readiness of vessels to load in Ukrainian ports, it is expected that sea corridors will continue to play a key role in ensuring efficient and dynamic foreign trade exchange for Ukraine.

This news demonstrates the importance and success of measures aimed at developing maritime infrastructure and supports the strategic direction of Ukrainian exports via sea routes.
