Record harvest 2023: Ukrainian farmers harvest more than 20 million tons of oil crops
As of November 24 of this year, Ukrainian agrarians can be proud of an incredible achievement - more than 75.7 million tons of grain and oil crops were threshed. These impressive figures, published by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Nutrition, testify to the high performance of the Ukrainian agricultural sector.

Harvesting of grain and leguminous crops took place on an area of more than 10.23 million hectares with an expected yield of 5.38 tons per hectare. Particularly impressive results were recorded in the cultivation of wheat, barley, peas, buckwheat, millet and corn.
As for oil crops, farmers harvested an impressive 20.7 million tons. Rapeseed, sunflower and soybean crops made a significant contribution to this indicator, which indicates a high level of technological equipment and qualifications of agricultural specialists.
The agricultural season ends with impressive results in the cultivation of sugar beets. The excavation area is 236.3 thousand hectares, while 11.8 million tons of these sweet roots were dug up. The high yield, which reached 46.9 tons per hectare, emphasizes the effectiveness of modern agricultural technologies in the cultivation of this important crop.
