The export potential of Ukrainian ports has significantly decreased by 40% following a series of attacks by Russia after it withdrew from the grain deal. This was announced on October 13 by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development of Ukraine.

According to him, Russia has recently carried out 17 massive attacks on Ukrainian ports, which has led to a serious reduction in their export potential.

"17 massive attacks since Russia's withdrawal from the grain deal, a 40% reduction in the export potential of ports, almost 300,000 tons of grain that was destroyed are part of Russia's attempt to deepen the food crisis in those countries that depend on Ukrainian products," the minister said.

According to the official, Russia poses threats to navigation in the Black Sea, but the Ukrainian military is effectively defending itself against the occupiers and ensuring the safety of the corridor for civilian vessels.

According to the latest data as of October 13, 21 ships have already used this corridor for export, and another 25 ships have called at Ukrainian ports to load goods on board.
