Prices for borscht set in Ukraine continue to decline

Prices for borscht sets in Ukraine, including lean and meat versions, continue to decline. According to experts, the cost of a lean borscht set can be up to UAH 40 per 3 liters, while a meat set will cost UAH 100. This was reported by Channel 24.

Scientists note that the expansion of sales volumes may lead to a slight decrease in prices for vegetables included in the borsch set in September.

According to experts, prices for individual vegetables may decrease as follows:

White cabbage to UAH 9 (-7%);
Beetroot to UAH 12 (-12%);
Onions up to UAH 12 (-7%);
Carrots up to 12 UAH (-11%);
Potatoes to UAH 10 (-16%).
It is worth noting that the decline in food prices is a positive trend for consumers and can ease the financial burden on the family budget in times of economic difficulties.
