An important phase of agricultural work has begun in Cherkasy region - the harvest. Grain crops will be harvested from an area of 625,000 hectares, and yields are expected to be no worse than last year. According to estimates, the goal of farmers is to harvest more than 3 million tons of grain. This data was provided by Igor Taburts, head of the Regional Department of Agricultural Development of Cherkasy region.

The government official noted that he is in constant contact with farmers, and he is confident that the region's food security is in good hands. Ihor Taburets also wished the farmers that the weather would be favorable for the harvest.

As a reminder, the Ukrainian Grain Association has updated its grain harvest forecast for 2023. According to the updated data, it is expected to increase by 1 million tons to a total of 69 million tons of grain and oilseeds. This reflects positive sentiment in the agricultural sector and expectations of improved performance.

Yields are one of the key indicators of agricultural development, and high yields contribute to the country's economic potential. Proper planning, quality control of seed, use of modern technologies and favorable weather conditions are all important factors that affect the yields and efficiency of farmers. At the same time, government support, stable grain prices and the development of export potential also contribute to success in the agricultural sector.

Harvesting is an important stage in the life of farmers that requires a lot of work and perseverance. It determines the fate of the products that are used in the fields and on the farms, and has a direct impact on the economy of the region and the whole country. Success in the harvest ensures market stability, food supply and positive development of the agricultural sector.
