Development of digital agricultural service in Ukraine: Cooperation of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy with companies

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of agriculture and information and digital spheres with the companies "Syngenta" and "N.S.T. Ukraine".

This step reflects a strategic desire to increase the transparency of the agricultural market through the introduction of modern technologies.

The memorandum provides for the Ministry of Agrarian Policy's access to a new digital agricultural service that uses satellite images and neural networks to analyze the condition of crops and forecast yields.

This cooperation opens opportunities for the ministry to determine the types of agricultural crops, their boundaries and yield potential in different fields.

Also, thanks to the agricultural service, it will be possible to obtain detailed data on the volume of the harvest, assess the potential of each field and derive strategies for optimizing production.

The digital service uses the Cropwise Operations system, which has been successfully operating for 10 years and has already proven itself among farmers.

The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and partner companies plan to work together on improving the service taking into account the needs of the industry and integrating it into the State Agrarian Register.
